Overview
BRLe is the Brazilian real stablecoin issued by Brasil Bitcoin on Polygon. Its reference peg is 1 BRLe to R$ 1. The project connects the Brazilian real to blockchain wallets and applications.
This document describes the BRLe model, its BRL reserves and key aspects of its use.
Peg and reserves
BRLe references the Brazilian real: 1 BRLe = R$ 1. Reserves are held in BRL in an account dedicated to BRLe. The reference peg and the trading price are distinct: prices on third-party platforms may vary with supply, demand and liquidity.
The Transparency page displays supply and reserves with their respective dates. Supply is updated once a day, at midnight Brasilia time. The bank balance corresponds to the reference date of the published document.
Proof of funds history
The proof of funds history groups published documents by reference month. Each entry shows the reference date, bank balance, supply at the close of that date and the PDF document.
Documents are preserved in their original form, allowing publications to be reviewed over time.
Network and contract
BRLe uses the Polygon network. The address below identifies the official contract provided by the issuer. Public transactions can be viewed in the network explorer.
A transfer requires a compatible wallet, the correct network and funds for network fees. On-chain records allow token transactions and balances to be tracked; they do not, by themselves, establish the existence of bank reserves.

VASPs and regulated financial institutions can become BRLe minters following institutional onboarding. A minter is an institution authorized to participate in the token issuance process.
Participation as a minter differs from trading BRLe on a platform. Contact the team to learn about the terms applicable to your institution.
Access and use
BRLe is designed for access to the real in digital form, transfers between compatible wallets and on-chain treasury. Businesses can integrate the asset into their operations where their applications support it.
The website provides access to Brasil Bitcoin and the Uniswap interface on Polygon. Trading availability, pairs, prices and liquidity depend on each platform. Opening an interface with the contract selected does not guarantee that a trading route exists.
Key considerations
Price and liquidity. The reference peg does not ensure order execution at R$ 1. Trades may face price differences, costs and insufficient liquidity.
Wallets and technology. Lost keys, unauthorized approvals, transfers to incorrect addresses or networks, and failures in contracts or applications can lead to loss of assets. Confirmed transactions should not be treated as reversible.
Issuer and financial infrastructure. Reserve maintenance depends on the issuer and the institutions involved. Operational failures, service outages or restrictions on access to funds may affect the product.
